Dr. Syed Haider
Dr. Syed Haider Discusses COVID Management.Dr. Syed Haider is an MD based on the east coast and practices through telemedicine. He has gained popularity for his outpatient protocol for COVID management. Today we will discuss this protocol with Dr. Haider. Let’s talk with him. BIO of Dr. Haider Dr Haider was a national merit scholar and attended the University of Florida on a full academic scholarship for two years studying computer and electrical engineering before enrolling at Shifa College of Medicine where he completed a 5 year medical degree with honors in Biochemistry. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn and afterwards worked for 10 years as a hospitalist before transitioning into general telemedicine in early 2020 and then becoming focused on COVID-19 tele health since Dec of last year. He was one of the first physicians to see success adding fluvoxamine to the ivermectin protocol.

Dr. Farid Jalali
A quick note about Dr. Jalali’s approach towards the COVID therapy. Dr. Jalali believes serotonin receptor (5HT-2) antagonism will be beneficial in the management of severe COVID19, due to increasing evidence of a biochemical and clinical serotonin-excess state, caused by severe platelet activation in this disease. Let’s discuss mechanisms, rationale for the agent heading to trials (Cyproheptadine) and the anecdotal outcomes so far. More importantly, let’s learn about the widespread, potent, and oft-overlooked action of serotonin outside of the central nervous system.

Dr. Keith Berkowitz
Keith Wayne Berkowitz, M.D., is the Founder and Medical Director of the Center for Balanced Health. He combines expertise in both traditional and complementary medicine. Prior to starting the Center for Balanced Health, he was the Medical Director and Business Director of The Atkins Center for Complementary Medicine. He was an associate of Dr. Robert C. Atkins since 1999.

Dr. Steven Phillips
Steven Phillips, M.D. is a renowned Yale-trained physician, author, international lecturer, and media go-to expert. Well-published in the medical literature, he has treated over 20,000 patients with complex, chronic illness from nearly 20 countries. Dr. Phillips experienced firsthand the nightmare of an undiagnosed, serious infection after nearly dying from his own “mystery illness,” and having to save his own life when 25 doctors could not.

Dr. Eliana Aaron
Dr. Eliana Aaron is a US board-certified nurse practitioner and Israeli nurse with over 20 years of experience as a health care provider and health care coordinator. For eight years she was the Medical Officer of the US Consulate General (now Embassy) in Jerusalem, and among her duties was pandemic planning, health policy development, public health, epidemiology, and emergency medical planning for the Near East Region in collaboration with local authorities and the US Department of State. During her doctoral studies at Yale University, Dr. Eliana Aaron focused on health policy and gaps in healthcare delivery in the Israeli health care system. After graduating from Yale University's Doctor of Nursing Practice program, specializing in health policy, leadership, & management, she founded EMA Care, a health care company established to close the existing gaps in the Israeli health care system. In 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic began in Israel, she noted the fake news, the overwhelming onslaught of information and news, the fake “expert” analyses that provided confusing, conflicting, and unhelpful information to people. Dr. Aaron, who has also been an adjunct professor of nursing and lecturer for 17 years in many subjects including epidemiology, started the first English language COVID website in Israel and daily Covid-19 WhatsApp updates to provide the English-speaking population with accurate information, explanations, understanding of fake news vs real news, & epidemiology info. Her groups now have thousands of followers. She also coordinated with the Israel Ministry of Health regarding issues for the English-speaking population, consulting on epidemiology graph development, and advocates for the non-residents in Israel.

Dr. Lawrence Afrin
Dr. Afrin's bio: After a B.S. in computer science at Clemson University in 1984, Dr. Afrin earned his M.D. at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 1988, where he also pursued internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology clinical andresearch fellowships. On faculty at MUSC 1995-2014, he was active in medical education plus information technology and educational administration (including hematology/oncology fellowship director 1997-2010) and practice and research in hematology/oncology and medical informatics. Since the mid-’00s, his clinical work has increasingly focused in hematology, especially mast cell disease; he also directed MUSC’s myeloproliferative neoplasms clinical trials program. Since 2014-17 spent furthering his interests in mast cell disease at the University of Minnesota, he has been developing an independent institute (located in the greater New York City area) for advancing care, research, and education in mast cell disease; he also is working to develop a global investigative network in this area. He has spoken widely in his areas of focus; his extensive publication record includes some of the most highly accessed articles about mast cell activation syndrome and a popular book in the field. He has served on editorial boards for several journals and medical advisory boards for various organizations includin The Mastocytosis Society.

Dr. Bruce Patterson
Dr. Patterson received his undergraduate training in molecular biology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He then went on to Northwestern University Medical School for training in medicine. During the early stages of the AIDS epidemic, Dr. Patterson began investigating cellular reservoirs of HIV-1 using molecular and in situ technology patented in his laboratory. Dr. Patterson went on to a residency in Pathology focusing on viral pathogenesis. While in his residency, Dr. Patterson determined that enough HIV virus was present in infected individuals to account for the massive destruction of the immune system. This paradigm altering work was published in Science in 1993. Dr. Patterson later was named Chief Resident of Pathology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Patterson has authored over 100 manuscripts and book chapters and he continues his work on HIV-1 pathogenesis and reservoirs at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Patterson was the Medical Director of Diagnostic Virology at Stanford University Hospitals and Clinics. ...

Dr. Eric D. Osgood is an internist in Trenton, New Jersey and is affiliated with St. Francis Medical Center-Trenton. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and has been in practice between 11-20 years.

Dr. Zara Ashakiyan
Dr. Ashikyan's bio Zara Ashikyan, Ph.D., QME is a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in Forensic and Neuro Psychology. She completed her undergraduate degree at UCLA in Experimental Psychology and her PhD degree in Clinical Psychology at California School of Professional Psychology. She then also completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at UCLA. She is the Founder and Clinical Director of Western Pacific Psychological Network, a multi-specialty mental health clinic. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Glendale Memorial Hospital Foundation. For the past 14 years Dr. Ashikyan has been conducting evaluations for private, court, and organizational purposes, Qualified and Agreed Medical Evaluations, as well as assessments for law enforcement and first responders related to Fitness for Duty, Trauma, & Risk Assessment. Dr. Ashikyan has notable experience working with athletes related to post-injury rehabilitation and performance issues. She has also vast experience with cognitive and neuro-psychological assessments for adults and conducts FAA evaluations for pilots and air traffic controllers

Dr. Priya Jaysinghani
Dr. Jaisinghani's introduction: Dr. Priya Jaisinghani is a board certified Internal Medicine physician who completed her training at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson, NJ and is currently completing her fellowship in Endocrinology at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell, NY. Dr. Jaisinghani received a distinction in service to the community through her work at the The Boggs Center in medical school and was inducted into the AOA Honor Society in 2019 during her residency. She also serves on the Board of Directors of a mental health organization called SAMHIN (South Asian Mental Health Initiative and Network) https://samhin.org. Dr. Jaisinghani plans to focus her career on Diabetes and Obesity Medicine while continuing to be an advocate for minority health and mental health. I also had privilege of serving India remotely during the second surge of COVID19 with my work being featured in The Times of India and Medscape.

Dr. William Murphy
Brief bio of Dr. Murphy: My research for the past 30 years has centered on translational studies involving modeling cancer-immune system interactions starting with my earlier studies on NK cells and HSCT in mouse models and later at the National Cancer Institute on their role in cancer immunotherapy which then expanded to issues in immunotherapy in general.

Dr. Danice Hertz
About Dr. Hertz: Danice Hertz MD is a retired gastroenterologist in Los Angeles, California. She received a BA in Biology from UC San Diego. She attended UCLA medical school and completed an internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at UCLA as well. She is board certified in both fields. She practiced gastroenterology in Santa Monica, California for 33 years and retired in October of 2020.

Dr. Tommy Zaharakis

Dr. Ka Long

The first woman ever accepted into the University of Florida as a Clinical Gastroenterology Fellow, Dr. Sabine Hazan is a pioneer in the medical field. Board certified in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine, Dr. Hazan has published articles in numerous prestigious medical journals, including the Journal of Duval County Medical Association and Gastroenterology, and won several awards, such as the Best Fellow Scientific Presentation and Dean’s Research Award awarded by University of Florida.

This is a very extensive and thorough course on web development taught by an excellent and passionate teacher. Angela explains difficult concepts in a simple way and actually takes the time to explain the code she writes

This is an amazing course for the beginners who want to understand about everything in machine learning. Thank you to the instructors (Hadelin de Ponteves and Kirill Eremenko) for explained it clearly and easy to understand.
